Lithuania’s Foreign Minister signs book of condolence to pay his respects to Istanbul terror attack victims
On 15 December, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius signed the book of condolence to pay his respects to the victims of the terror attacks outside Beşiktaş stadium in Istanbul on Saturday night.
Lithuania’s Foreign Minister offered his condolences to the families of those who were killed and injured, and to all the people of Turkey. Linkevičius strongly condemned the brutal terrorist attack against Turkish police officers and the country’s people, and said that Lithuania stood in solidarity with Turkey in its relentless fight against terrorism.
“On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, I would like to convey our most heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and to the people of Turkey. At this difficult and tragic moment, I want to reiterate our solidarity with Turkey in its tireless efforts in fighting terrorism – a common threat to humanity,” wrote Linkevičius.
