Lithuania’s Foreign Minister offers condolences over the Stockholm attack
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius extended his condolences to the Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs Margot Wallström over the terrorist attack in the Swedish capital Stockholm on 7 April. The Stockholm attack killed some innocent people and wounded many more.
“We condemn this act of terrorism and stand in solidarity with Lithuania’s close neighbour and partner – Sweden – also with the people of Sweden and the country’s Government. We believe that the perpetrators of these attacks will never be able to undermine societies abiding by the principles and values of democracy. We also wish strength to all those caught up in this horrific attack,” reads the letter of condolences.
