LITHUANIA‘S FOREIGN MINISTER MET WITH AMBASSADOR OF SWEDEN

On 2 March in Vilnius, Lithuania's Foreign Minister Vygaudas Ušackas received Ambassador of Sweden to Lithuania Ulrika Cronenberg-Mossberg. The interlocutors discussed the results of the working visit of Lithuania's Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius to Sweden, which was held on 17-18 February. Minister of Foreign Affairs V.Ušackas stressed the exceptional character of the Baltic-Swedish energy link project and the need to implement it as soon as possible.

The Minister and the Ambassador also discussed the importance of the creation of Lithuanian and Swedish knowledge and innovation communities, as well as the significance of Swedish banking activities in Lithuania.
