Lithuania’s Foreign Minister meets with India’s outgoing Ambassador

On 12 January, Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Linas Linkevičius met with India’s outgoing Ambassador to Lithuania Monika Kapil Mohta. The meeting discussed bilateral relations between India and Lithuania, cooperation within international organizations.
L.Linkevičius highlighted close cultural relations between the two countries and welcomed an increasing number of Indians students studying in Lithuania. Lithuania’s Foreign Minister thanked the Ambassador for her contribution to the development of the bilateral relations and repeatedly invited India’s Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj to visit Lithuania.
Monika Kapil Mohta, who resides in Warsaw, is India’s eighth Ambassador accredited to Lithuania.
