Lithuania’s Foreign Minister Landsbergis: “We cannot keep our eyes off Ukraine, where we see Russia’s renewed offensive. If we can solve this, the world can expect to go back to normal and to stability”
Today, on 23 October, the EU’s Foreign Affairs Council takes place in Luxembourg.
“We cannot keep our eyes off Ukraine, where we see Russia’s renewed offensive. It reminds us that Russians are waiting for situations like this, where we draw our attention to somewhere else so they can renew their attacks. Suppose we can secure Ukraine’s independence. In that case, I think the world can expect to go back to normal and to stability,” the head of Lithuania’s diplomacy said ahead of the Council.
