Lithuania’s Foreign Minister Landsbergis to attend the Davos World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2023

On 16-19 January, Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabrielius Landsbergis will attend the Davos World Economic Forum Annual Meeting. At a session on 17 January, the head of Lithuania’s diplomacy will take part in a session entitled ‘Thinking the Unthinkable: The Risk of Nuclear Confrontation’ and deliver opening remarks at a dinner of the Friends of Ukraine on 18 January.

Lithuania’s Foreign Minister also intends to meet with heads of diplomacy of various countries and representatives from Google, Facebook and other business communities.

In Davos, Lithuania is usually represented at the presidential level. The invitation addressed to the Foreign Minister highlights his contribution to mobilising support for the people of Ukraine, who have fought against Russia’s barbaric aggression for almost a year.
