Lithuania’s Foreign Minister Landsbergis bids farewell to the outgoing Ambassador of Latvia

On 28 July, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis bade farewell to the outgoing Ambassador of Latvia to Lithuania Indulis Bērziņš.

The meeting focused on the development of bilateral ties between Lithuania and Latvia, regional security issues, and the outcomes of the NATO summit in Vilnius. The Ambassador of Latvia highlighted the excellent relations between the two countries and thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other institutions for their active participation in developing and deepening the bilateral cooperation.

Landsbergis expressed his conviction that fruitful cooperation between Lithuania and Latvia would continue.  

Ambassador Bērziņš started his work in Lithuania in 2019.
