Lithuania’s Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis to meet with British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss
On 2 March, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis will meet with the Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom Elizabeth Truss, who is paying a working visit to Lithuania, and will discuss Russia's military invasion of Ukraine, measures to assist Ukraine, the security situation in Eastern Europe and the Baltic Sea region. The participants of the meeting will also discuss plans for bilateral defence cooperation within the framework of NATO and the UK-led Joint Expeditionary Force.
On 3 March, Landsbergis will attend a meeting of Foreign Ministers of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and the UK, which will focus on the situation in the region, the war launched by Russia against Ukraine, support for Ukraine, as well as cooperation to ensure the security of the Baltic region and NATO as a whole.
