LITHUANIA’S FOREIGN MINISTER EXTENDS CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY OF THE POLISH CITIZEN, WHO HAS TRAGICALLY PERISHED IN PAKISTAN
On 12 February in a letter to Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Radosław Sikorski, Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Vygaudas Ušackas extended condolences to the family of Polish citizen Piotr Stanczak, who has tragically perished in Pakistan.
In the Minister’s opinion, this horrific act of terrorism should not intimidate the international community.
“We have to face terrorist acts with strength and solidarity. There is no place for such acts in the civilised world,” writes Minister V. Ušackas in his letter.
