Lithuania’s Foreign Minister expresses condolences over a deadly coal mine blast in Donetsk
On 4 March, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius sent a letter to Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin, offering his sincerest condolences over the coal mine disaster in Donetsk, Ukraine.
“I extend my most sincere condolences to you, the families of the victims and to all the people of Ukraine. Today we mourn this painful loss together with Ukraine,” reads the Minister’s letter.
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman informed this morning that the coal mine blast in Donetsk killed people and left dozens more trapped underground.
