LITHUANIA’S FOREIGN MINISTER EXPRESSED CONDOLENCES TO THE VICTIMS OF THE EARTHQUAKE IN TURKEY
On 9 March, Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Audronius Ažubalis sent a letter to Foreign Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoğlu, expressing condolences to the families and relatives of the victims of the earthquake in Turkey.
“On behalf of all Lithuanians please allow me to offer my sincerest condolences to the families of the victims of this earthquake,” the Minister wrote in the letter.
On 8 March, the earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale shook mountainous eastern Elâzığ Province of Turkey.
