Lithuania’s Foreign Minister discusses foreign policy with students of Žvėrynas Gymnasium
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Kęstutis Budrys visited Vilnius Žvėrynas Gymnasium on 13 February.
The Foreign Minister and the students discussed citizenship, foreign policy issues, and the priorities of Lithuania’s foreign and security policy. Budrys congratulated the students, teachers and the school community on the upcoming Day of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania.
“The state is the home of all of us, our community. No one else will take care of our future and safety unless we consider it our duty. Let us cherish our land, our living history,” said the Foreign Minister.
Budrys noted that foreign policy affected the life of every citizen of Lithuania, so it was important for everyone to understand what decisions were made, what positions were taken and why Lithuania took them, as well as to discuss emerging issues.
