On 26 May, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius congratulated the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Mikheil Janelidze and all the people of Georgia on Independence Day.
Linkevičius highlighted that a strong friendship between Lithuania and Georgia, which was based on shared values, was visible thanks to active people-to-people contacts, and cooperation in various fields. Lithuania’s Foreign Minister called on the people of Georgia to continue to actively foster the friendship between our countries and to combine our efforts to address the challenges of today.
Lithuania’s Foreign Minister once again welcomed the significant achievement of the year – the entry into force of a visa-free regime for Georgian citizens.
