Lithuania’s Foreign Minister bids farewell to the outgoing Apostolic Nuncio

On May 6, Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gabrielius Landsbergis, bade farewell to the outgoing Apostolic Nuncio, Archbishop Petar Rajič.
At the meeting, Landsbergis thanked the Nuncio, who has worked in Lithuania for five years, for his vigorous activities throughout Lithuania and contribution to developing relations between Lithuania and the Holy See. The Foreign Minister valued Nuncio’s deep knowledge of Lithuania and the region and wished to apply his professional experience successfully in future work.
On March 11, 2024, Pope Francis appointed Archbishop Rajič as the Apostolic Nuncio to Italy and San Marino.
