Lithuania’s Foreign Minister bids farewell to the outgoing Ambassador of Ukraine

On 2 July, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius met with the outgoing Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania Valeriy Zhovtenko.

Zhovtenko briefed the Lithuanian Foreign Minister on the situation in Ukraine and thanked for Lithuania’s consistent support to his country. Linkevičius stressed that Lithuania would continue to fully support Ukraine, as well as to rally international support for the country.

Zhovtenko has served as the Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania since June 2011.
