Lithuania’s Foreign Minister bids farewell to outgoing Ambassador of Estonia

On 30 June, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius bade farewell to the outgoing Ambassador of Estonia to Lithuania Jana Vanaveski.
Lithuania’s Foreign Minister highlighted the excellent cooperation among the Baltic states during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as intensive interaction between Lithuania and Estonia within the frameworks of the Baltic Council of Ministers and the Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8). L. Linkevičius also expressed gladness at the informal consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries that had taken place in 2019.
J. Vanaveski has served as the Estonian Ambassador in Lithuania since 2016.
