Lithuania’s Ambassador to Sweden presents his letters of credence to the King of Sweden

On 30 November in Stockholm, the Ambassador of Lithuania to Sweden Algimantas Rimkūnas presented his letters of credence to King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden.
After the ceremony, the Ambassador Rimkūnas had a conversation with the King of Sweden. They recalled the Swedish royal couple’s successful visit to Lithuania in October 2015 and welcomed the effective development of bilateral ties.
Lithuania and Sweden have successfully developed both bilateral relations and multilateral Nordic-Baltic cooperation. Lithuania thinks that its economic partnership with Sweden is very important, as it contributes to the country’s economic growth.
Rimkūnas is the tenth Ambassador of Lithuania to Sweden.
