Lithuania’s Ambassador presents her letters of credence to the President of Croatia
On 4 March in Zagreb, the Ambassador of Lithuania to Croatia Jūratė Raguckienė presented her letters of credence to the President of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović.
After the ceremony, the Ambassador said that the relationship between our two countries was excellent. The countries successfully cooperate on items on the Euro-Atlantic and global agenda. The Lithuanian Ambassador also drew attention to possibilities for strengthening partnership and cooperation in the fields of culture, trade, energy security, and transport infrastructure.
J. Raguckienė is the first Lithuanian Ambassador, who permanently resides in Croatia. The Embassy of Lithuania in Croatia was opened on 1 July 2018.
Lithuania and Croatia established their diplomatic relations on 18 March 1992.
