LITHUANIA’S AMBASSADOR PRESENTED HIS CREDENTIALS TO THE PRESIDENT OF ISRAEL

On 30 September, Ambassador of Lithuania to Israel Darius Degutis presented his Credentials to the President of Israel Shimon Peres. During the conversation following presentation of Credentials, President Shimon Peres higly appreciated partnership between Lithuania and Israel, stressed the importance of utilizing great potential of cooperation in the spheres of business, tourism, modern technologies and culture.

President Sh.Peres spoke of Vilnius as the world center of Jewish cultural life and expressed his intention to pay a visit to Lithuania in 2010.
