LITHUANIAN VICE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS PARTICIPATED IN THE EAPC CONFERENCE

On October 26 Lithuanian Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Giedrius Čekuolis took part in the conference devoted to the tenth anniversary of the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council. NATO Secretary General Lord Robertson, former President of Finland Martti Ahtisaari, President of NATO Parliamentary Assembly Rafael Estrella, other high ranking NATO and EAPC officials delivered their reports at the conference. In his report the Lithuanian Vice Minister stressed the important role of EAPC in stirring up regional cooperation, briefed about Lithuanian-Russian bilateral relations, the activities of Vilnius group and Lithuania’s actions in fighting international terrorism.
