LITHUANIAN REPRESENTATIVE PARTICIPATES IN MEETING TO DISCUSS POSITIONS REGARDING FUTURE EU ISSUES

On May 27-28 in Vienna, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representative of the Lithuanian Government in the European Convention Rytis Martikonis participated in the meeting of nine smaller EU member and acceding countries on EU institutional reforms.
Positions on the topical EU institutions’ reforms were coordinated by Austrian, Czech, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Finnish and Hungarian representatives in the Convention, who also met Austrian Federal Chancellor Wolfgang Schüssel and Foreign Minister Benita Ferrero-Waldner.
