LITHUANIAN-POLISH ENERGY COOPERATION ISSUES WERE DISCUSSED IN VILNIUS

On 23 January Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Petras Vaitiekūnas met Secretary of State of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland Adam Lipiński who pays a visit to Vilnius and discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, situation in Belarus, energy projects of importance to both states. “Our energy cooperation will be successfully developed further,” Minister Vaitiekūnas said at the meeting.

Mr Lipiński agreed with Mr Vaitiekūnas that it is important that the significance of common energy projects between the Baltic States and Poland is acknowledged not only by participating states but also by the European Union.
