LITHUANIAN MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS TO VISIT CHINA AND SOUTH KOREA
On 11 April Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Antanas Valionis goes on official visit to China and South Korea.
In Beijing Lithuanian Foreign Minister Antanas Valionis will meet with his Chinese counterpart Li Zhaoxing, Director of Foreign Affairs Committee of Chinese National Congress Jiang Enzhu, Vice-President of China Zeng Qinghong, leaders of Beijing, Shanghai cities and Shaanxi province. In the meetings it is planned to discuss bilateral relations and multilateral cooperation issues.
In South Korea the Head of Lithuanian Diplomacy is to meet with Korean Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Ban Ki-moon, Chairman of the National Assembly Kim Won Ki.
During the visit it is planned to sign a Memorandum between Lithuanian and Korean Ministries of Foreign Affairs on establishment of mechanism of political consultations.
This is the first official visit of Foreign Minister Antanas Valionis to China and South Korea.
Foreign Minister is to return to Lithuania on 23 April.
