LITHUANIAN MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS CONGRATULATED THE NEW MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF BELARUS
On 24 August, Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Audronius Ažubalis sent a letter of congratulations to the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Makey, highlighting that Lithuania and Belarus shared a common historical experience over many centuries and this close relationship between the two nations can help to find constructive solutions.
“I hope that our common work will enable us to make progress on such important issues as our citizens’ will to live in the neighbourhood corresponding to the international atomic safety requirements and the development of the cooperation within the framework of the EU Eastern neighbourhood as well as the improvement of the conditions of the cross-border movement will help to further strengthen our neighbourly relations", A.Ažubalis says in his letter.
