Lithuanian Honorary Consuls’ meeting takes place in Ukraine

On 7 December in Kyiv, the Embassy of Lithuania held an annual meeting of Lithuania’s Honorary Consuls in Ukraine, which discussed priorities for cooperation in 2016.
“The incumbent Honorary Consuls in ten regions of Ukraine offer a lot of help and support for the development of political, business, investment and cultural ties between Lithuania and Ukraine,” said Ambassador of Lithuania to Ukraine Marius Janukonis who greeted the guests.
The participants explored opportunities for business, investment, education in the regions, and ways to boost people-to-people ties.
Prior to the meeting at the Embassy, the Honorary Consuls visited the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra to get acquainted with Lithuania’s cultural heritage.
