Lithuanian Foreign Vice-Minister meets with Pakistan’s new Ambassador

On 24 February, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Neris Germanas received Pakistan’s new Ambassador to Lithuania Masroor Ahmed Junejo, who presented his letters of credence to the President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė on the same day.

The Vice-Minister and the Ambassador discussed the cooperation between Lithuania and Pakistan in the political, economic, cultural and scientific fields, as well as within international organisations. N.Germanas thanked the Ambassador for his country’s support to Lithuania’s bid for a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council. They welcomed the strengthening economic ties between the two countries – the trade between Lithuania and Pakistan grew by nearly 33 percent in 2013.

Masroor Ahmed Junejo is the 6th Ambassador of Pakistan to Lithuania. He resides in Copenhagen.
