LITHUANIAN FOREIGN VICE-MINISTER AND MALAYSIAN AMBASSADOR DISCUSS COOPERATION IN POLITICAL, ECONOMIC AND CULTURAL FIELDS

On 9 September in Vilnius, the Lithuanian Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Neris Germanas met with the new Malaysian Ambassador to Lithuania Dato’ Jamaluddin Bin Sabeh, who presented his letters of credence to the President of Lithuania today.
The Vice-Minister and the Ambassador discussed cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and scientific fields, and within international organisations. The officials welcomed the strengthening economic relationship: the visit of the Minister of Economy Evaldas Gustas to Malaysia early this month, the establishment of the Lithuania-Malaysia Business Council in February.
Dato’ Jamaluddin bin Sabeh is the 6th Malaysian Ambassador to Lithuania, who resides in Warsaw.
