Lithuanian Foreign Vice-Minister and Estonian Deputy Foreign Minister hold consultations in Vilnius
On 13 March in Vilnius, the Vice-Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Vytautas Leškevičius and Rolandas Kriščiūnas met with Mart Laanemäe, Deputy Foreign Minister of Estonia.
During the meeting, V.Leškevičius and M.Laanemäe shared the experience of the Lithuanian Presidency of the EU Council in detail and discussed European and regional agenda issues. They agreed to continue intensive consultations in the run-up to Estonia’s Presidency of the EU Council in 2018.
R.Kriščiūnas consulted with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Estonia about mutual support for candidates nominated by Lithuania and Estonia to work with international organisations, exchanged views on the implementation of the European gauge railway project Rail Baltica and discussed preparations for the accession of Lithuania to the OECD.
