Lithuanian Foreign Vice-Minister and Czech Ambassador discuss cooperation in multilateral fora and bilateral trade

On 1 October, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Neris Germanas met with the new Czech Ambassador Bohumil Mazánek, stressed the intense and close bilateral cooperation between Lithuania and the Czech Republic, partnership in multilateral fora and growing bilateral economic relationship. The interlocutors underlined the importance of energy security for the two countries.

According to N.Germanas, Lithuania is interested in intensifying regional cooperation between the Baltic and Visegrad countries.

The meeting also discussed the situation in Ukraine and possible developments after the parliamentary election.

B.Mazánek succeeded Radek Pech as the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Lithuania.
