Lithuanian Foreign Ministry’s statement on the tragic plane crash

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania expresses condolences to the families of the victims as a result of the tragic Malaysia Airlines plane crash in the Donetsk region, which currently is under separatist control.

We call on Russia and Ukraine to immediately launch an investigation into the tragic event near the Russian-Ukrainian border and to bring to justice all persons presumed responsible for this.
