Lithuanian Foreign Ministry’s statement on the killing of Palestinian teenager

The Lithuanian Foreign Ministry condemns the killing of a Palestinian teenager in Jerusalem. We offer our sincerest condolences to the family of the victim.

We call on the Palestinian and Israeli governments to continue to cooperate and to conduct an independent investigation into this crime. We invite both parties to refrain from taking any action that may further escalate tension in the region.
