LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTRY EXPRESSES ITS STRONG PROTEST AGAINST THE DETENTION OF BELARUSIAN HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIVIST

Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its strong protest against the detention of the head of the Belarusian non-governmental organisation "Vesna" Ales Belyatsky and actions against the human rights organization he is heading.

Lithuania together with partners in the EU will take further actions regarding the release of political prisoners in Belarus.
