LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER VISITS LATVIAN EMBASSY IN VILNIUS, SIGNS CONDOLENCE BOOK

On 25 November, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius visited the Embassy of Latvia in Vilnius and signed a condolence book for victims of a tragic accident in a shopping centre in Riga.

“I would like to express my most heartfelt condolences to our brotherly nation of Latvia. We are here for you as you grieve these losses and we wish strength to the bereaved families,” the Lithuanian Foreign Minister wrote in the condolence book.

On 22 November, the Lithuanian Foreign Minister L.Linkevičius sent a letter expressing his condolences to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs over the tragic accident in Riga.
