Lithuanian Foreign Minister to visit Moldova
On 24-25 February, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius and the Foreign Minister of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs are paying a working visit to Chișinău, the capital of Moldova.
The visit includes meetings between the Foreign Ministers, Moldova’s highest-ranking officials and representatives of the opposition.
The Foreign Ministers of Lithuania, the host of the 3rd Eastern Partnership Summit in November, and Latvia, the organiser of the upcoming 4th Summit, will discuss the key goals of Moldova’s European integration agenda, challenges related to their implementation and new developments in the region.
The Foreign Ministers of the two Baltic States will also meet with representatives of non-governmental organizations and the media.
