LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER TO RECEIVE SPANISH FOREIGN MINISTRY STATE SECRETARY FOR THE EUROPEAN UNION

On 12 May, Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Antanas Valionis met with Spanish Foreign Ministry State Secretary for the European Union Alberto Navarro, who paid a visit to Vilnius.
The officials discussed bilateral cooperation issues and the Treaty Establishing a Constitution for Europe ratification process in EU members.A. Valionis and A. Navarro also talked about the issues related to the EU financial perspective for 2007-2013.
The Minister extended an invitation to Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs Miguel Angel Moratinos to visit Lithuania in the second half of this year.
The guest also met with the Chairman of Seimas European Affairs Committee Vydas Gedvilas, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Albinas Januška and Ministry of Finance Undersecretary Rolandas Kriščiūnas.
