LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER TO PAY A VISIT TO THE UNITED KINGDOM

On 13-14 October, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius will be paying a working visit to the United Kingdom, where he will meet with the country’s Minister for Europe David Lidington and other officials as well as attend the Eastern Partnership conference.

The Minister will hold meetings with British politicians to discuss bilateral cooperation, key issues related to Lithuania’s Presidency of the EU Council, and preparations for the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius.

L.Linkevičius, the UK’s Minister for Europe, and head of the Polish diplomacy Radosław Sikorski will open the Eastern Partnership conference, which is co-organised by the Foreign Ministries of Lithuania and Poland, and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom.
