LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER RECEIVES LETTERS OF CONGRATULATION FROM HIS CHINESE, MEXICAN, CHILEAN AND BRAZILIAN COUNTERPARTS
Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Linas Linkevičius received letters of congratulation from his Chinese, Mexican, Chilean and Brazilian Foreign Ministers on assuming office.
Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs Yang Jiechi writes that China and Lithuania relations have been developing smoothly and that the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries have maintained close cooperation. The Chinese Minister wishes to work together with Linkevičius to further promote sound and stable development of bilateral relations.
Mexican Secretary of Foreign Affairs José Antonio Meade Kuribreña writes that he is sure that the bilateral relations between Lithuania and Mexico will be strengthened through the enhancement of high level political dialogue and cooperation, as well as through the bilateral investment promotion.
Chilean Minister of Foreign Affairs Alfredo Moreno Charme stresses that the relationship between Chile and Lithuania is that of two friendly and allied nations, which share the same democratic values and priorities in international politics.
Brazilian Minister of External Relations Antonio de Aguiar Patriota writes that he anticipates the pleasure of working with Linkevičius to strengthen the cooperation and friendship that characterize the relationship between the two countries and peoples.
