LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER RECEIVED THE NEW AMBASSADOR OF ESTONIA

THEOn 21 October, Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Petras Vaitiekūnas received new Ambassador of Estonia to the Republic of Lithuania Tiit Naber. During the conversation, the interlocutors spoke about the successful development of bilateral relations between Lithuania and Estonia. More attention was dedicated to the issues of energy and shared positions of the two countries in the European Union institutions. 

Ambassador T.Naber indicated that the main directions of his activities will include strengthening of regional cooperation, issues of energy and climate change, and as well as problems of the Baltic Sea.

Ambassador T.Naber held the position of Estonia’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the EU. He also was the Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine.

T.Naber is the fifth Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia, accredited to Lithuania since the restoration of independence.
