LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER MET WITH RUSSIA’S PRESIDENT’S SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE FOR RELATIONS WITH THE EU
On 22 March Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Antanas Valionis met with Special Representative for the President of Russia for relations with the European Union Sergey Yastrzhembsky and discussed the issues of bilateral relations and Lithuanian-Russian cooperation in the context of the European Union.
Both parties took a positive view of current conditions of people and cargo transit from and to Kaliningrad. Border infrastructure, railway tariffs and other issues were also touched upon.
Sergey Yastrzhembsky came to Vilnius to take part in the II Europe-Russia Forum organized by the Institute of International Relations and Political Science of Vilnius University together with Polish East Institute.
