LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER IS TO PAY A VISIT TO BERLIN
On 10-11 June, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius is to pay a working visit to Berlin, where he will hold meetings with the German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle, the Advisor to the Federal Chancellor for Foreign and Security Policy Christoph Heusgen, and the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of Bundestag Ruprecht Polenz.
The meetings will focus on important issues related to the European Union, the forthcoming Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius, the EU’s enlargement, NATO, conflict in Syria, and energy.
During the visit, Linkevičius will present Lithuania’s preparations to hold the Presidency of the EU Council at the Bundestag and the Representation of the European Commission.
