LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER HOLDS A MEETING WITH HEAD OF THE OSCE OFFICE IN MINSK

On 5 January in Vilnius, Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Chairperson-in-Office Audronius Ažubalis met with Head of the OSCE office in Minsk Benedikt Haller.
During the meeting, the Minister and the Ambassador discussed the activities of the OSCE office in the capital of Belarus and the decision of Belarusian authorities to not to extend the mandate of the OSCE Office in Minsk, which expired on 31 December 2010.Ambassador B.Haller of Germany took up his position as Head of the OSCE Office in Minsk on 15 January 2010.
