LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER EXPRESSES CONDOLENCES OVER THE RUSSIAN OIL RIG DISASTER

On 19 December, Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Audronius Ažubalis expressed his condolences over the Kolskaya oil rig disaster, when it capsized in a storm in the Sea of Okhotsk.
“I offer my condolences to the families of those who died in the accident and to those who were injured, as well as to the authorities during this hard time”. I wish you strength and have a successful rescue operation,” reads the Foreign Minister’s condolence letter to the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov.
