LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER EXPRESSES CONDOLENCES OVER BOSTON BOMBINGS

On 16 April, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius sent a letter of condolence to the US Secretary of State John Kerry after the blasts in Boston that killed and injured many people.

“We are deeply shocked by the explosions at the Boston Marathon which took away innocent lives and wounded so many people. I strongly condemn perpetrators of this attack. I would like to express my most sincere condolences to the families of the victims, their loved ones and friends, and wish full recovery to those who were injured,” reads the condolence letter, written by Linkevičius.
