On 7 September, Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Audronius Ažubalis extended condolences to families of the Yaroslavl air crash victims.
“I am deeply shocked by the tragic accident. I would like to extend my most heartfelt sympathy to all those who have lost loved ones. I wish them strength in their darkest hour,” the Minister said.
