LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER EXPRESSES CONDOLENCES ON THE DEATH OF V.HAVEL

Yesterday, on 18 December, after the death of the first President and the Czech Republic and a famous anti-Communist dissident Vaclov Havel, Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Audronius Ažubalis sent his condolences to Karel Schwarzenberg, the Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs and a long-term friend of V.Havel.

When speaking on the telephone, A.Ažubalis stressed that “V.Havel was and still remained a symbol of the fight for freedom in Europe”.
