LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER CONVEYS CONDOLENCES OVER THE DEATHS OF ROMANIAN TOURISTS

On 25 June, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius sent condolences to the Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Titus Corlăţean over the deaths of 18 Romanian citizens in a bus crash in Montenegro.

In the letter to his Romania counterpart, Linkevičius conveyes condolences to the families of the deceased and wishes those injured a speedy recovery. The Minister writes that his thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Romania.

The accident happened on 23 June, some 30 kilometres north of Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. A bus with 47 tourists fell from a bridge down a precipice.
