Lithuanian Foreign Minister congratulates Spain’s new Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation
On 4 November, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius welcomed the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Spain Alfonso María Dastis Quecedo.
“Spain is a very important partner and ally of Lithuania both bilaterally, as well as on international arena within the European Union, NATO and other organizations. Lithuania highly appreciates Spain’s contribution to our region’s security. Spanish participation in NATO Baltic Air Policing mission is an example of solidarity between the allies,” reads the Lithuanian Foreign Minister’s letter.
Linkevičius also expressed confidence that friendly relations between our countries and shared values would further contribute to the successful bilateral and multilateral cooperation between our two countries.
