LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER CONGRATULATES CANADA’S NEWLY APPOINTED FOREIGN MINISTER AND MINISTER OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE

On 19 May in Vilnius, Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Audronius Ažubalis sent congratulatory letters to Canada’s newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs John Baird and Minister of International Trade Edward Fast.

In the letters, head of the Lithuanian diplomacy congratulated his counterparts and stressed his belief that the transatlantic cooperation between Lithuania and Canada would continue to develop successfully.

Minister A.Ažubalis also invited the Canadian Foreign Minister to participate in the events of the Community of Democracies that will take place from June 30 to July 1 in Vilnius, and the Minister of International Trade to pay a bilateral visit to Lithuania.
