LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER CONGRATULATED NEW GOVERNOR OF KALININGRAD REGION

On 16 September Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Antanas Valionis sent a letter of congratulations to the new governor of the Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation Georgy Boos.
“Lithuania appreciates the neighbourhood relations with the Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation based on long-term cooperation,” Antanas Valions said in the letter.
Lithuanian Foreign Minister expressed hope that Lithuania and the Kaliningrad region will maintain further close contacts to promote welfare of both countries and their citizens.
