LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER CONDEMNS TERRORIST ACTS AGAINST US

Lithuanian foreign minister Antanas Valionis condemned terrorism, which brutal forms came out in New York and Washington, D.C., and expressed sympathy to the American people. The Lithuanian Foreign Ministry has formed a working group to follow and analyze the events in the United States. The Ministry maintains constant contact with Lithuanian embassy in Washington and other diplomatic representations in the US. On September 11, 2001 several large-scale terrorist acts occurred on the eastern coast of the United States which caused big number of casualties.
